Bubaneshwar

I visited Bhubaneshwar during Sept 20-23, 2008. CIET had arranged a workshop for the Teachers on "Development of Graded Learning Material" and I was invited to conduct a session on constructivist approach and Graded Learning. ( http://docs.google.com/Presentation?id=dgc2mcwc_110dfvdhpgs )

On Sunday I and my colleague Jayashree visited Dhauli where the monument of Dhamma Chakra to commomorate King Ashoka's transformation from Chanda Ashoka (Ashoka the Warrier) to Dhamma Ashoka (Ashoka the Saint) took place.

Here are some photoes of the monument.

From Dhauli we went to see the Rajarani temple which is built in stones brought from Rajarani village.

Another facinating feature of Bhubaneshwar visit was the paintings (folk Art) on the walls in the city. They are fabulous!

All these photos could be viewed here.
